At the 333 Ranch we are committed to raising and delivering superior Angus cattle to the market. We run a registered Black Angus cow-calf operation and our cattle are bred, born and raised on our ranches in open pastures using industry leading natural calving and animal husbandry practices.
We specialize in breeding and raising high-quality registered Angus cattle with top EPDs and a perfection phenotype. We work diligently to develop bulls that last, are tough in our challenging climate, easy to work with and produce low birth weight calves who grow quickly. Bulls that will perform for both commercial cattlemen and purebred operations.
The solid foundation of our cattle business is based on the strength of our cow herd. Our females will always be at the forefront of our breeding programs. We require our cows utilize the available forage and convert it efficiently to breed back on time and bring in a big, healthy calf at weaning. We also place a great deal of emphasis on maternal genetics that stand the test of time - - calving ease, fertility, fleshing ability, mothering ability and disposition, udder quality and structural correctness. Cows that are built to remain productive in the herd for many years.
Our staff is hands on with the cattle and work closely with them each day. All 333 Ranch employees are BQA (Beef Quality Assurance) certified to insure that the best husbandry and low stress techniques are used to raise our cattle under optimum management conditions. We strongly focus on the humane treatment of our cattle and to provide a healthy environment for them to be raised.
In addition to being a registered herd operation, 333 Ranch is able to market our cattle to “Natural” and “NHTC” (Non-Hormone Treated Cattle) programs due to our commitment to record keeping, humane handling, eIDs and top-tier herd health management protocols. All of our cattle are age- and source-verified, which makes them eligible to ship overseas and earn a premium.
