Grown at the 6,000 foot elevation, our commercial hay operation produces top quality hay for dairy farms, export users (non-GMO) and wholesale cow feed. From our 15 center drive pivots, along with our 2,000 acres of meadows, we annually produce many thousands of tons of Alfalfa hay, Alfalfa/Orchard Grass blend, Grain hay and Timothy grass hay. Our cuttings are tested and the results are available upon request. We hand sort all our bales when loading and eliminate bales that do not meet our standards. This assures you will only receive the greenest, highest-quality hay. Much of our hay is stored in fully covered, large hay barns or fully wrapped by export quality procedures to prevent weather damage and mold, and to ensure the best quality for our valued customers. 

Standard bale size is 3’ x 4’ x 8’ with an average weight of 1,250 pounds.  Typically haying begins with a first cutting of alfalfa in early June and often continues into October, depending (as always) on the weather.
